Jordan Jackson, MA, LPC-Intern

In life, I find that we tend to rush, try doing it all, participate here, enroll the kids in that and at the end of the day we are left feeling depleted, overwhelmed with stress, anxiety, or maybe even that dark cloud that fills our soul leaving us feeling worthless. What went wrong? How did I get here? Perhaps we ask ourselves this regularly while we still search for something to feel that void.

To me, being a counselor is not about providing you with answers, advice, or how live your life; yet being a counselor is taking a seat next to you and walking with you through your story. On those days where it all feels wrong, or on days where you feel there is just not more to give, I would like to offer hope and encouragement.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, I have experience in working with women, children, and families during times of crisis and life transitions. Through Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I believe we can learn how to live through different lenses.
